Job Description: Reporting to: Supervisor   Person responsible for all supplier commodity buying activities from requisition to payment in support of global procurement goals Main responsibilities: · Perform simple to moderate transactional procurement activities for a specific assigned country, region or area, which includes (but not limited to) the following: Managing the purchase order process to completion Maintaining price information in the system Follow thru on PO deliveries and vendor coordination Purchasing reporting activities Meet the minimum target daily productivity set by the supervisor - based on assigned product category/plant Resolving simple to moderate exceptions and handling inquiries from suppliers and stakeholders - match exceptions / GRIR resolution Follows a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance within Sourcing areas; - as per Sourcing Policy Ensures compliance to internal procurement business rules and SOX controls Projects (LSS) - process improvements and automations Other tasks: Procurement Initiated events and activities 3M company wide events   General Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any Business, Engineering, Finance or any related courses 1-2 years’ experience within Sourcing area or purchasing transactional activities Ability to communicate in written English Highly customer service and quality oriented mindset; Proficient research, analytical and problem solving skills; Continuous improvement mindset Knowledge of sourcing principles; Working knowledge of MS Office tools; Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload; Team oriented person who can focus on the details.
