Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. Production Technician position is responsible for day to day operation of the Calvert City liquid hydrogen and air separation plants located in Calvert City, KY. Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Participate in the Life Critical Safety program Operate both plants in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner. Ability to communicate with customers to coordinate feed and product delivery activities. Support and comply with all safety, health, and environmental procedures as defined by site and corporate personnel. Develop equipment purging and isolation plans as required Prepare equipment for maintenance activities in a safe manner Enter work orders into Maximo as required Make suggestions to improve plant safety, efficiency and quality. Display proper attitudes, work ethics, and have the ability to follow directions Provide on-call assistance or work additional shifts when required. Actively participate in training programs Develop or revise operating procedures as appropriate Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager Recruiter: Alessandra Manrique - alessandra.manrique@airliquide.com ____________________ Are you a MATCH? SKILL SET/EXPERTISE High school diploma or equivalent education required. A combination of 2 or more years of technical training or operations experience desired. Ability to use computers with knowledge of MS Office/Google software. Ability to work in a team environment. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills in order to deal effectively with management and external customers. Knowledge and understanding of instrumentation, rotating equipment, and piping systems. Demonstrates self motivated attitude. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts Ability to climb and ascend vertical ladders as required Ability to enter and work in confined spaces
