Role Type Permanent What you'll be doing: As our RTR Chief Accountant, you will act as a key finance partner for the market, making sure all statutory, tax and management reporting is delivered accurately and on time. You will oversee the accounting work performed by the COE R2R team, ensure full compliance with corporate and local requirements, and lead statutory reporting and audit activities. Your work will help General Managers and Finance Directors confidently sign financial statements and ensure our processes run smoothly throughout the year. Key responsibilities: What you’ll be working on: Ensuring accurate, complete and up‑to‑date accounting records for the market Reviewing monthly closing reports and managing IFRS vs statutory adjustments Filing statutory financial statements and all required local filings Organizing and leading annual statutory audits and inspections Preparing commentary for quarterly certification processes Explaining variances for FP&A and preparing statutory forecasts Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations completed by GBS partners Acting as control owner for relevant SOX and compliance areas Monitoring local regulations and implementing needed changes Managing cooperation with external advisors (e.g., EY, Deloitte) Providing tax advisory support for projects Working closely with CoE, GBS, Controllers, Tax, and market finance teams to improve processes Driving efficiencies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Expanding your finance expertise through training and best‑practice sharing What we’re looking for: 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a multinational environment finance or accounting, ideally in a Degree in Finance/Accounting and a professional accounting certification Strong knowledge of accounting systems, IFRS and US GAAP Excellent English skills (spoken and written) Ability to stay organized, work independently and meet tight deadlines Experience working in a multicultural environment Leadership skills and the ability to build an engaged, high‑performing team Curiosity, learning agility and a proactive approach to improving processes What we offer: We offer a comprehensive benefits package along with wellness resources and work-life balance support in line with your country practices and Avon purpose aiming to help you live a healthier life, protect you and your dear ones, and ensure you’re at your best.
