Role Type Contractor What you'll be doing: As a General Accountant at Avon, you’ll be responsible for supporting financial processes across multiple countries. You’ll take part in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Avon’s global standards. Your role will involve working with various financial elements such as leases, fixed assets, inventory, and provisions, while maintaining high-quality reporting and internal controls. Key responsibilities: What you'll be working on: Month-end and year-end closing tasks including leases, fixed assets, inventory, and different type of provisions Preparing and processing journals such as payroll, past due fees, and prepaid release Maintaining the chart of accounts and supporting actual reporting in the consolidation system Performing regular and ad hoc financial reporting Verifying compliance with Avon Global Standards, including internal controls and account reconciliations What we're looking for: Higher education in Accounting or Finance (preferred) 3–5 years of accounting experience Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint Experience using accounting software Very good command of English Knowledge of internal controls and accounting standards High attention to detail and discipline Good problem-solving abilities Ability to think in a structured and complex way What we offer: We offer a comprehensive benefits package along with wellness resources and work-life balance support in line with your country practices and Avon purpose aiming to help you live a healthier life, protect you and your dear ones, and ensure you’re at your best.
