How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The core responsibility of this position is to sell industrial solutions (Gas, Application, Service) to customers operating in various sectors within a defined region. Primary responsibilities include retaining existing customers by ensuring customer satisfaction, and improving sales and profitability. The role requires adherence to Air Liquide's sales processes, as well as HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and Quality procedures. 1.To implement the sales plan for their assigned region. To determine targets for implementing the sales plan according to relevant markets and to create a balance between existing customers and potential customers. To plan customer visits in line with the target. To prepare the visit report. To convey information received regarding competitor companies to central resources. To analyze customer sales data and take actions (pricing, promotion...). To deliver timely and necessary information to relevant units (Sales Support) (contract, price increase...). 2.To conduct regular research activities in their region. Conduct visits for research purposes to existing, potential, and competitor customers, and involve Business Development teams when necessary. Spend maximum time during customer visits to establish contact with relevant individuals for new sales opportunities. Have a clear understanding of the customer's needs, expectations, and requirements. Manage internal qualification processes to prioritize sales opportunities. 3. To increase sales through proposal selling and new customer acquisitions. Manage the sales opportunities portfolio to provide an idea regarding the estimated signature amount and actual earnings. Organize with Business Development teams if a trial is required. Coordinate the proposal preparation process with Business Development teams and the technical team, prepare the business plan, and finalize it by working with the sales support team 4.To negotiate AL proposals and sign contracts with customers. Initiate proposal evaluation and contract review processes and complete approvals within the AL organization. Sell AL products and services within the framework of standard AL proposals to customer decision-makers. Obtain customer approval by having the contract signed. Ensure accurate recording of customer and contract information in coordination with the sales support team. 5.To ensure customer loyalty and keep geographical region information updated. Analyze competitor threats by reviewing lost contracts and research solutions offered by competitors. Determine target customers in line with the customer prioritization system and identify the most effective communication channel. Build a long-term, trust-based relationship with key customers and decision-making managers from different departments. Develop and implement strategies for identified customers. Regularly call and visit identified target customers and report results to the manager. Follow up on potential industrial projects, economic, and industrial developments in the region by contacting regional players. 6.To increase the value of existing sales. Calculate customer profitability on a product basis using relevant tools. Select targets by evaluating competitors' approaches. Choose the most effective way for the customer to increase prices or implement more value-added product applications. Record new contract terms in the relevant systems.
