Job Description Job Title: Hybrid Podding Technician/Inspector (2 openings) Working Pattern: Onsite Monday – Thursday (6:30am – 5pm working 10-hour shifts) Working Location: Savannah, GA As the Hybrid Technician / Inspector for Rolls-Royce, you will review related paperwork and build cards to ensure that workmanship meets acceptable standards and documentation is complete and accurate. You will advocate and promote company policies that include, but are not limited to, product safety, safe work practices, OSHA, EPA, Federal, State, and Local policies/regulations. You will have knowledge of disassembly, repair and re-assembly of Rolls-Royce gas turbine engines and components. In this role, you will need to be ability to pass an FAA required eye exam and to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. Why Rolls-Royce? What you will be doing: Operating precision tools and equipment to perform accurate dimensions without error and comply with work scope instructions as directed by our Operations and Engineering Groups Conducts audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all maintenance, prior to approval for engine dispatch Accessing and using engine data materials such as Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Engine Maintenance Manual (EMM), and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) etc Understanding, interpreting and applying Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives and Technical Variances when applicable Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Ability to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and interface with customers as required Lead capacity when directed by our operations and engineering groups Who we’re looking for: At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
