Where You’ll Make a Difference Ensure timely delivery of all agreed deliverables while maintaining compliance with SOX and internal control policies. Prepare and file tax declarations for European tax authorities within specified deadlines. Perform reconciliations of Tax GL accounts (Direct and Indirect Tax) in line with SOX and company policies, identifying and resolving unreconciled items. Manage clearing of entries in open-item accounts and ensure accurate clearing of Tax GL account balances. Post recurring journals and propose or execute rectification entries, ensuring prior approvals as per SOX and journal entry policies. Publish performance dashboards and tax-specific reports, implementing proactive controls to identify and address issues promptly. Develop strong knowledge of accounting flows to support accurate GL reconciliations and reporting. Collaborate with onshore counterparts, actively participate in business calls, and provide timely responses to management queries. Deliver accurate, relevant, and comparable financial data, analyzing and translating information into actionable insights for decision-making. What Makes You the Right Fit Postgraduate or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in EMEA Tax Compliance. Mandatory knowledge and experience in Europe Intrastat, ESL, and VAT compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Hands-on experience with Tax GL reconciliation and reporting using Blackline. Strong technical understanding of accounting principles with proven application skills. Excellent analytical abilities and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. End-user experience with SAP FI module. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
