Leadership / People Management • Represents the voice of the customer, uses this to build motivation for continuous improvement within his/her unit. Demonstrates ownership of quality by role-modelling. • Understands KONE’s quality strategy and creates, executes and maintains the unit related quality strategy by setting clear targets and leading the execution of the decided plans together with the Quality managers and Business line managers. • Guides and develops a team of quality professionals (e.g. Quality Managers and Specialists) S/he coaches and supports the team and peers to ensure desired behaviors and results are achieved; seeks & provides input to Personal Development process. • Establishes operating budgets; monitors the cost, effectiveness, and reliability of quality assurance activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that targets and standards are met.  Quality Management • Constantly analyses customer feedback and identifies improvement areas where actions and results are well defined and expected within a certain period of time, with the aim of ensuring customer satisfaction • Evaluates the results of quality assurance activities and prepares recommendations for executives about significant changes that need to be made to the organization’s mode of operations.  • Liaises with functional and operational area managers (e.g. R&D, production, maintenance, service, marketing, engineering, or supply) to develop schedules, project plans, and cost estimates for implementing new activities, procedures, or methods to improve the quality and performance of the organization’s outcome in terms of services and products.  • Researches, evaluates, and recommends investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will improve the quality of the organization’s output. (services and/or products) • Measures and continuously improves KONE full-chain Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and supporting KPIs • Identifies benefits to KONE from Quality actions across our business processes (e.g. Customer, Solution Creation, Delivery, Maintenance), contributes to and promotes full chain and full lifecycle quality by collaborating with other functions and units. • Maintain strong connections with other colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future requirements. • Manages the implementation and maintenance of ISO certifications for certified operations • Liaises with external suppliers to ensure that their products/services meet the organization’s quality standards and that the organization receives satisfactory standards.  At KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
