We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Development Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing and validating 1.6T Optical Modules . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical module testing, automation, and quality assurance, ensuring that our products meet high-performance and reliability standards. Key Responsibilities: Validate hardware performance using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers (BERT), vector network analyzers (VNA), and optical spectrum analyzers (OSA). Conduct root-cause analysis and debugging of hardware issues during bring-up and testing phases. Ensure hardware meets industry standards such as IEEE 802.3, OIF, and MSA specifications. Work with suppliers to evaluate and qualify critical components including lasers, modulators, drivers, TIAs, and DSPs. Support manufacturing, test development, and reliability validation for new product introduction (NPI). Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Testing Engineer. Hands-on experience with high-speed measurements and debugging. Familiarity with optical communication components and modulation formats (e.g., NRZ, PAM4, QAM). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
