The Technology Business Support Internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the centre of Technology operations within MUFG. As part of the COO Office within Technology, you will support the Business Manager in driving strategic and operational priorities across a department of more than 1,500 technology professionals. This role provides direct exposure to senior leadership and a broad range of high‑impact initiatives, including workforce planning, operational efficiency projects, technology strategy, governance, and change delivery. You will be helping to shape and organise Technology’s priorities, solve real business challenges, and contribute to the smooth running of a Technology department. You will be expected to take ownership of your work, apply critical thinking, and deliver outputs that support both immediate requirements and longer‑term priorities. You will use research, data analysis, problem‑solving, and structured thinking to produce clear, practical materials that inform decision‑making. The role operates in a fast‑paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly. Starting off with a week of technical training, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our products and markets. Then armed with this knowledge, you will then join our Technology Innovation Management Team As part of a select intake, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry and will be allocated a buddy to make sure you have all the support to get the most out of the summer internship. Our Summer Internship Programme acts as a pipeline for our full time Analyst programme and a successful summer intern may receive an offer to join our full time Analyst Programme the following year. You will support the Technology Business Manager on a variety of activities, such as: Coordinating strategic and operational initiatives across Technology Problem solving to help drive efficiency, process improvements, and forward‑planning Preparing high‑quality presentation materials, dashboards, and documentation Engaging with stakeholders across Technology and the wider business Join Our Team We look for talented, motivated and ambitious people who will be able to help drive our business forward.
