Key Responsibilities: 1. Category Strategy Development o Coordinate with Frontline Sales team and product team to catch up with latest market requests. o Define and implement category strategies aligned with company goals. o Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities. 2. Supplier Management o Supplier matrixes build up. o Develop strong relationships with key suppliers. o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks. 3. Cost Optimization & Value Creation o Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive team to implement. o Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the category. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration o Work closely with sales, product, operations, R&D, quality, and finance teams to ensure category strategies meet business needs. o Support new product development and innovation initiatives. 5. Performance Monitoring o Track supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards. o Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 6. Team Management o Coach and develop team to understand category management. o Team goal setting and tracking. o Build up goal-oriented team. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering(Master’s preferred). • 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management. • 3+ years of experience in team management role. • Strong negotiation and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.
