Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Engineer with at least 5 years of experience working with either HPE 3PAR, Netapp, Pure Storage with a focus on AWS S3 and FSx Storage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing complex storage environments to achieve strategic and technical objectives. Knowledge of cloud-based storage is a requirement, especially AWS and/or Azure storage offerings. Description: The Storage Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing and maintaining storage. A key focus will be on planning and implementing migrations from legacy platforms and between data centers. Key technologies include HPE 3PAR block storage, Netapp file storage, Pure Storage, AWS S3, AWS FSx, Glacier, S3-IA and Azure cloud storage. Responsibilities: Document technical and business requirements. Plan storage implementations and migrations. Execute, test, and verify technical tasks. Provide accurate reporting for project management. Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards. Identify, mitigate, and report risks. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in either HPE 3PAR, Netapp or Pure storage. Experience with configuring block storage, preferably Pure Storage. Experience with configuring file storage, preferably Netapp and AWS FSx. Detailed understanding of AWS and/or Azure storage platforms. Experience with storage replication in synchronous and asynchronous environments. Experience migrating storage between platforms. An understanding of virtualization concepts, especially VMWare. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Fiber Channel switching, preferably Cisco MDS. Experience with Object storage, especially EMC ECS. Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS & Azure. AWS certification preferred but not required. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience The typical base pay range for this role is between $111K - $138K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
