Report to Head of HO Liaison and Threat Management also same as Global Head of MUFG Threat Intelligence Centre (MTIC) MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE  The Centre of Excellence Business Manager will play a critical role in overseeing initiatives within MUFG’s Threat Intelligence Center (MTIC), ensuring alignment with strategic planning objectives. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end management of key projects that enhance MUFG’s global cyber threat intelligence capabilities. The role demands strong project management expertise, a solid understanding of cybersecurity operations, and the ability to coordinate effectively across global teams in Tokyo, London, New York, Singapore, and India. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the end-to-end management of MTIC projects, ensuring alignment with MUFG’s global cybersecurity strategy. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage accounting, financial operations, and budget forecasting of MTIC, ensuring cost optimization and alignment with MTIC strategic objectives. Facilitate the communication and coordinate with global stakeholders across regions (Japan, EMEA, Americas, APAC, India) to align requirements and deliverables. Track project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. Drive standardization of threat intelligence protocols, tools, and governance across regions. Collaborate with technology, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements in each jurisdiction. Host and facilitate global cadence meetings (e.g., biweekly meeting), including preparing agendas, sending meeting invites, distributing materials, and ensuring effective follow-ups. Promote and manage recurring global meetings, accounting for time zone differences and regional public holidays to negotiate suitable time frames that maximize participation. Create and deliver visually effective high-quality reports for senior managers and executives. Provide clear and timely reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and dependencies. Work with MTIC Engineering Lead to coordinate with global stakeholders to proceed study and implementation on Security Mesh Architecture Foster collaboration across global teams, promoting a 24/5 Follow-the-Sun operating model for MTIC. To support other tasks where necessary under the Vulnerability & Management Team, such as Vulnerability Management and Cyber Security Awareness Training Culture and Management: Take an active role in the group and global operation of MUFG. Promote the MUFG values-led culture which is inclusive and diverse. Promote a dynamic, delivery driven culture that works alongside business units to provide responsive resolutions and value driven solutions. Collective leadership by example on staff cyber education and awareness to embed a proactive cyber culture. Find ways to strengthen working relationships with stakeholders, including business teams. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand industry best practice, influence change and promote technical credibility. WORK EXPERIENCE   Experience: 10+ years of project management experience in cybersecurity, financial services, or IT infrastructure within a globally distributed organization. Proven experience working closely with senior leadership and executives, including preparing and delivering high-quality reports and presentations. Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-region projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, or security monitoring. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations across global jurisdictions (e.g., DORA, US regulations, APAC requirements). Demonstrated experience managing global meetings across different time zones, understanding regional public holidays, and negotiating suitable schedules to ensure global participation. Proficiency in project management methodologies. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Technical Skills: Project Management: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or similar. Collaboration & Communication: Microsoft Teams, Outlook (for meeting management & scheduling), SharePoint, OneDrive, Miro/MURAL. Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel; strong ability to produce quarterly, annual, and executive-level reports. Governance & Compliance: ServiceNow, Archer GRC, or similar platforms. Skills & Competencies: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultural and geographic teams. Strong meeting facilitation skills, including managing recurring global meetings, setting agendas, recording decisions, and tracking actions. Ability to scale global meeting management, factoring in time zones, regional differences, and public holiday calendars to find suitable compromises. Strong report-writing and presentation skills, with attention to detail and executive-level clarity. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to execution. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure. Collaborative leadership style, fostering teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
