Job Description En tant que représentant du service à la clientèle pour une entreprise de haute technologie en pleine croissance desservant les marchés de l’analyse chimique et des sciences de la vie, vos principales responsabilités comprendront l’installation, la réparation, et la formation pour les instruments de chromatographie en phase gazeuse (CPG) et de chromatographie en phase gazeuse-spectrométrie de masse (CPG/SM, CPG/QQQ, CPG/QTOF) sur place, pour les clients du Québec, de l’Ontario, des Maritimes et, occasionnellement, du reste du Canada.  Parmi vos responsabilités en matière de soutien aux clients, on trouve l’installation sur place, la formation des clients, la réparation et le dépannage de matériel, l’entretien préventif routinier, les qualifications et les services de vérification. Vos tâches, orientées sur la satisfaction de la clientèle, consisteront à offrir aux clients des services de qualité supérieure. Responsabilités supplémentaires : Conformité aux directives en matière d’environnement, de santé et de sécurité, gestion de pièces, coordination de ressources, formation, rétroaction à l’intention des divisions de fabrication, collaboration avec le secteur de la vente et mise à jour continue des connaissances techniques liées aux produits désignés. Répondre de manière proactive aux problèmes potentiels liés aux équipements ou aux logiciels afin d’éviter toute interruption non planifiée des activités des clients. Servir de ressource interne pour les questions techniques et gérer les procédures d’escalade pour les produits. Collaborer avec les équipes d’Agilent telles que l’équipe de soutien, des ventes, du marketing et de la recherche et développement pour fournir des solutions aux clients. Pourrait devoir avoir une connaissance des produits tiers. Pourrait dispenser une formation technique interne et organiser des séminaires et des ateliers d’entretien pour les représentants sur le terrain ou les clients. Pourrait former d’autres représentants sur le terrain ou des clients. Pourrait être appelé à étalonner l’équipement sur place pour les clients principaux. Pourrait évaluer des clients potentiels. Ces exigences peuvent inclure, sans s’y limiter, une preuve d’identité, la preuve de la certification pour effectuer le travail requis, les exigences du client en matière de santé et de sécurité, etc. As a Field Service Representative for a high-tech growth business serving the Chemical Analysis  and Life Sciences markets, your primary responsibilities will include installs, repairs and training for Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry instrumentation (GC/MS, GC/QQQ, GC/QTOF) for customers on-site in Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes and occasionally the rest of Canada.  Responsibilities for supporting customers through on-site installation, customer training, repair and troubleshooting of hardware, routine preventative maintenance, qualifications, and verification services. Job focus will be on customer satisfaction by providing customers with high quality services. Other responsibilities may include Adherence to environmental health and safety guidelines, managing parts, coordinating resources, training, providing feedback to manufacturing divisions, working with sales forces, and maintaining up to date technical knowledge for assigned products. Proactively responds to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business. Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers. May have knowledge of third-party products. May deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars and workshops for field representatives or customers. May train other field representatives or customers. May calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers. May qualify leads. Must consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites. Requirements may include, but are not limited to, proof of identification, proof of certification to perform the work required, customer health and safety requirements, etc. Qualifications Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en chimie ou en biochimie, ou diplôme équivalent Plus de 2 ans d’expérience professionnelle pertinente Solides compétences logiques en matière de dépannage Une expérience d’opérateur en CPG, CPG-SM, CPG-QQQ est requise. Connaissances en matière d’application requises Aptitude à résoudre des problèmes pouvant entraîner des répercussions graves liés au matériel, aux logiciels ou aux applications du client. Focalisation sur la recherche de solutions Expérience en génomique, un atout Solides compétences en relation avec la clientèle requises Disposition à se déplacer (jusqu’à 30 % du temps) et à séjourner à l’extérieur Respect des formalités de vérification de la fiabilité exigées par les gouvernements fédéral et provinciaux, au besoin, lors de travaux exécutés dans des installations gouvernementales Volonté de se soumettre à des tests de dépistage de drogues et d’alcool pour accéder au site, le cas échéant Bilinguisme français-anglais, obligatoire Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or equivalent. 2+ years of relevant job experience. Strong logical troubleshooting skills. Operator level experience with GC, GCMS, GC-QQQ is required. Application knowledge is needed. Ability to solve high impact problems related to customer's hardware, software or application. Solution focused. Genomics experience a plus. Strong customer relationship skills are needed. Must be available for up to 30% travel that may require overnight stays. Must comply with Federal/Provincial government reliability clearance check request when necessary for on-site work in government facilities. Must comply with drug/alcohol testing for site access when required.
