This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact AI initiatives, including AI-driven simulations through Avarra and the development of a secure, private custom ChatGPT for partners. In this role, you will support the evolution and adoption of Avarra’s AI-powered simulation experiences to ensure they are relevant, impactful, and scalable for partners. You will also help design and refine a private AI-powered knowledge assistant that provides partners with contextual, on-demand access to program, product, and sales resources. Working cross-functionally with enablement, product, sales, and IT teams, you will define use cases, curate and validate content, test AI-driven experiences, and ensure governance, accuracy, and data security standards are upheld. Success will be measured by increased partner adoption of Avarra simulations and the AI assistant, improved access to critical resources, and demonstrable gains in partner productivity and enablement effectiveness. What You’ll Do Day to Day Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance adoption and impact of Avarra AI simulations within the partner ecosystem Identify gaps in simulation workflows and recommend improvements to increase engagement and usability Support the design and content strategy for a secure, private custom ChatGPT knowledge assistant Curate, structure, and validate enablement content to improve AI response quality and relevance Test simulations and AI assistant outputs to ensure accuracy, usability, and business alignment Analyze usage data and partner feedback to identify trends and recommend enhancements Support communications and change management efforts to drive awareness, adoption, and measurable impact What a Top Candidate Brings Strong interest in AI, enablement strategy, and applying emerging technologies in a business environment Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data and feedback into actionable improvements Excellent communication skills and confidence collaborating across functions Comfort operating in fast-moving, innovation-driven initiatives with evolving priorities Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, governance, and user experience Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT), simulation platforms, learning technologies, or knowledge management systems is a plus Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in related field (graduation date between fall 2026 – spring 2028) Able to commit to working from June through November 2026 (full-time during summer, part-time during fall) Why Proofpoint?
