Maintenance Technician - Weekends Geneva, IL   Work 24 Hours. Get Paid for 36. Full Benefits. Looking for higher earnings and more weekdays off? Our compressed weekend shift gives you both. Earn $38.81 - $48.81/hour Weekend Maintenance Technicians: Work 24 scheduled hours Receive pay equivalent to 36 hours Remain eligible for full benefits Weekend Schedule Saturday & Sunday 12-hour shifts 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM OR 10:00 PM – 10:30 AM Consistent schedule. Premium pay. Four weekdays off. Availability Requirements Training occurs Monday–Friday and may rotate across shifts. Additional Friday or Monday off-shifts will be required based on operational needs. Candidates must be available to work either day when scheduled. What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match + HSA Paid vacation + 13 paid holidays Quarterly bonus opportunity Fitness reimbursement Employee battery program PPE and uniforms provided Referral program Recognition programs Career growth and advancement opportunities What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility issues Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance Install and adjust machinery, controls, power systems, and utilities Operate machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, welder, etc.) Create and document work orders; track parts and maintenance activity Maintain a safe work environment and follow all PPE standards What We’re Looking For 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience (manufacturing preferred) Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems Technical training in mechanical or electrical systems (PLC knowledge preferred) Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specifications Strong problem-solving and basic computer/data entry skills Must supply and maintain personal hand tools High school diploma or equivalent required U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work required weekend/OT schedule About the Plant The Geneva, IL plant has been operating since 1960 and employs more than 265 people.
