At Clarios GBS Slovakia, we are reshaping how Record-to-Report works. From traditional accounting execution to end-to-end ownership, smarter processes and AI-supported finance. We are looking for an Accountant who enjoys working with banking data, understands the importance of financial accuracy – and is curious about how finance roles are evolving.   Key Responsibilities: You will be part of the RTR team, where ownership and collaboration matter more than hierarchy. Own daily bank statement booking and reconciliation across multiple regions Actively resolve open and unreconciled items – not just close them, but understand why they occur Cooperate with various internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and propose solutions Support month-end close activities with a strong focus on quality and deadlines Oversee banking processes across regions and ensure consistency and control Be a key contact for internal and external audits in the banking area Participate in process improvements, automation and standardization initiatives     What makes this role different: This is not a purely transactional role. University degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent professional experience Experience in Finance / Accounting (RTR or similar environment) Solid understanding of accounting and reporting principles Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis mindset) SAP experience is an advantage Fluent English (Spanish is a plus) Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Curiosity, ownership mindset and willingness to learn Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment The starting salary is at min 1400 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria. This amount is our minimal offered salary.
