About the role: MUFG Bank, Ltd supports top-tier Institutional Real Estate clients across APAC, including Listed and unlisted Corporates, Sponsors and Fund Managers. Due to significant growth in the Oceania business over the last 2 years, MUFG are hiring an additional resource in Sydney to continue assisting in the delivery of the business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Real Estate, Oceania, and other dedicated Real Estate members, to proactively lead the relationship coverage of existing and strategic new to Bank set of Real Estate clients. What you’ll be doing: In your role as an experienced Vice President, your key role will be to actively manage an existing set of clients in the Real Estate sector within Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB), Oceania.  This will involve: Continually assess, develop and drive a robust industry strategic plan that will drive pecuniary outcomes and business growth Enhancing current client sets to deliver required revenue and return targets Build new client relationships that drives and enables growth of the Real Estate portfolio Partner with Product specialists in building financial solutions that best meet the client needs with an enhanced focus on non-lending product opportunities Provide clear leadership in managing the portfolio and new transactions with the credit division and other key internal stakeholders To provide guidance to junior team members with respect to work tasks and supervise the assigned work tasks / deliverables from junior members across region  To assist Head of Real Estate, Oceania and senior members of the team, as and when necessary                                                            What we are looking for: 7+ years experience in in the Real Estate sector and Corporate Banking Finance field, focused on client relationship management Tertiary Qualifications in related field including Finance, banking, business related degree from a leading university Strong Credit and risk management skills Demonstrable experience in excellent client coverage and leadership Proven track record in onboarding strategic clients while strengthening existing relationships Strong Credit and risk management skills Strong business acumen and ability to drive new revenue and cross selling opportunities Good communication skills with the ability to influence others Strong stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with other departments Previous experience in a leadership role providing guidance and mentorship and developing a high performing team Our culture: MUFG fosters a highly professional, supportive work environment that enables our employees to help maximize our customers' prosperity.
