Job Description Summary This position is responsible for designing highly complex modules, critical components or a whole application/product in its entirety. Has the vision to integrate it across multiple systems. This position works independently and is seen as a technical leader. The position is responsible for driving the design and development efforts related to architecture, scalability, availability and performance in alignment with the product/application roadmap. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. tex Job Description In this role you will be responsible for Cloud Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge/Kafka. Implement IoT solutions utilizing AWS IoT Core, Greengrass, and other relevant AWS IoT services. Design and maintain microservices using containerized applications using Docker and ECS/EKS and Lambda. Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and maintain Python test framework. System Optimization & Troubleshooting: Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and Java/Python application issues. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements. Create and maintain detailed documentation including architecture diagrams, deployment scripts, and operational procedures. Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security, including IAM, VPC, and network security groups. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AWS, IoT, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, and Java, Python technologies. Proactively suggest improvements and enhancements to existing systems and processes. Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical direction and support. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices. Education Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 9+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Java, Python, AWS, Kubernetes/ECS/other, CI/CD. Experience : Proven experience with AWS services (EKS/ECS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch) and good to have IoT technologies (AWS IoT Core). Excellent expertise in Kubernetes, Docker and good working knowledge of SQL and NO-SQL databases. Minimum 9 years’ experience in developing backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Experience in leveraging AI SDLC faster release cycles. Business Acumen: Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates. Understand how internal and/or external business model works and facilitate active customer engagement Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes Able to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts. Possess extensive knowledge of full solution catalog within a business unit and proficiency in discussing each area at an advanced level. Leadership: Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates. Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel. Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities Proficient interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels Proven analytical and problem resolution skills Ability to influence and build consensus with global teams and leadership Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams in cloud technologies and microservices. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
