SUMMARY Leveraging the strengths of local educators to enhance the performance of local manufacturing, Pierce is looking to immerse teachers into the business processes of Pierce Manufacturing during the summer months. Local and regional middle and high school teachers will be onboarded, assigned a work area where they will be mentored and trained to perform the tasks in that area. After 2-4 weeks, they will then work with subject matter experts to document the competencies and skills needed to perform the tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Creating new team member training content using an “outside looking in” methodology Identifying the Legacy Knowledge that needs to be transferred. Creating measurable learning objectives Creating content that “bridges the gap” from the Pierce Training Center to the production floor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Wisconsin grades 7-12 current teaching license Currently employed full time teaching grades 7-12 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience writing curriculum Pay Range: $32,000.00 - $48,000.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
