Job Description Summary GE HealthCare Haifa Ultrasound group is seeking a Software Engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. In this role, you will design and develop software for next-generation ultrasound systems, working on advanced imaging technologies and user-centric workflows. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on healthcare by delivering innovative solutions in a highly collaborative environment. Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain software components for new ultrasound products. Collaborate with system engineers, UX designers, and algorithm teams to deliver high-quality features. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions. Ensure compliance with medical device standards and quality processes. Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. Work in an Agile environment, contributing to continuous improvement. Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering   from a well-regarded institution. 3–7 years of experience   in software development. Strong programming skills in   C++   and   C# . Experience with   Windows development   and   multithreaded programming . Solid understanding of   Object-Oriented Design principles   and design patterns. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with   WPF   or other UI frameworks. Familiarity with   medical imaging standards   (DICOM, HL7). Knowledge of   HW/SW interfaces   and Windows internals. Experience working in   Agile environments   (Scrum/Kanban). Passion for software quality and writing well-tested code. Exposure to   UX design principles   and performance optimization.
