Job Description Summary As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing systems. This role involves traveling to customer sites across Slovakia, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional service to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Your expertise will directly impact patient care by ensuring our diagnostic imaging systems operate at their best. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Technical:   Maintain diagnostic imaging (DI) systems in Slovakia, with a primary focus on X-ray and surgical systems. Electronic/Mechanical:   Perform system-level troubleshooting on complex, multi-symptom issues. Interface daily with doctors and technicians regarding equipment status. Sales Support:   Assist the sales team during customer visits, provide technical insights, and identify sales opportunities. Business Growth:   Contribute to the development and direction of the business in the Slovak region. Administration:   Complete all administrative tasks on time, including documentation for FMIs and PMS inspections. Installation:   Support complex installations in multifunctional rooms. Share best practices and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and GE Service Quality standards. Team Support:   Ensure service quality across the Slovak team and help identify training needs for colleagues. Qualifications / Requirements Diploma in Electronics, Electromechanics, Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, mechanics, and radio engineering Understanding of magnetic field physics, X-ray, and ultrasound technologies Strong technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Fluent in Slovak and proficient in English (spoken and written) Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Slovakia What We Offer A dynamic role in a global healthcare leader Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning Competitive salary and benefits package A collaborative and inclusive work environment GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
