As Group Account Manager – Independent Liquor Stores & Wholesalers , you play a key role in driving sustainable growth across the independent retail and wholesale channel in The Netherlands. You are responsible for managing strategic group accounts, developing joint business plans, and executing channel strategies that strengthen our brand presence and commercial performance. In this role, you lead and coach two Sales Representatives , ensuring strong field execution, clear priorities, and high-quality customer engagement. You work cross-functionally to translate strategy into action and identify growth opportunities within a diverse and fragmented customer landscape. RESPONSIBILITIES Achieving growth and hitting sales targets across Independent Liquor Stores and wholesalers by effectively managing group accounts and leading a team of 2 Sales Representatives Design and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s net sales, gross margin, and market shares Leading, coaching, and developing the Sales Representatives through clear objectives, performance management, and field support Developing plans, KPI and goals to achieve based on a data driven and analytical approach Managing various customers and projects in combination of a strong contribution to key company processes such as S&OP and rolling forecasts  Managing price consistency in collaboration with other channels in strong partnership with RGM Implementing Route to Market strategy with cross functional teams (marketing, supply chain, IT, sales…) Identifying new trends and opportunities for business growth and implementing action plans KEY METRICS QUANTITATIVE: Net Sales Volume Gross Margin Distribution & Activation Market Share QUALITATIVE: Relationship with customers Development and execution of account plans Quality of field execution and team engagement Cross-functional collaboration to deliver commercial objectives REQUIREMENTS Master’s or bachelor’s degree Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial positions within the spirits industry, including a minimum of 3 years’ negotiation experience with large spirits wholesalers Fluent in Dutch and English Natural leadership, autonomous, people manager, comprehensive negotiation skills, hands-on mentality, strong advisory and facilitation skills Analytical ways of working, based on data driven decision making and P&L management Knows how to strongly influence Revenue Growth Management principles positively and capable of challenging the status quo A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration within a matrix organization. Excels in stakeholder management Ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet deadlines Business results oriented: ability to perform, to budget and manage forecast Proactive, positive, and innovative mindset. Team player with a natural collaborative mindset.
