Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position. Job Summary The Director of Bulk Sales and Contract Distillation plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our bulk spirits business by leading commercial strategy, cultivating high‑value partnerships, and expanding our global footprint. What you’ll do Develop and execute a multi‑year commercial strategy for bulk sales and contract distillation, with clear milestones and measurable outcomes within your first year. Build and manage a robust domestic and international sales pipeline, expanding customer relationships through industry events, market insights, and proactive outreach. Lead end‑to‑end contract management—including negotiation, execution, compliance, and performance tracking—to ensure accuracy, transparency, and exceptional customer experience. Partner with operations to forecast demand, align production schedules, and translate customer requirements into actionable production plans. Monitor inventory levels, revenue performance, and contract profitability, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, legal, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless customer experiences and operational alignment. Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in the spirits industry (including 5+ years in distillation operations, bulk sales, or related commercial roles). Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements, build strong customer relationships, and lead teams through change while fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and talent development. Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail—precision is essential in distillation, contract management, and customer‑facing processes. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills to guide operational decisions, evaluate contract profitability, and support long‑term business strategies. Ability to travel and support customer needs, including occasional nights and weekends, and experience managing teams responsible for barrel procurement, bulk sales support, and customer service.
