We are looking for YOU as Autonomous Production Unit (APU) Manager (m/w/d)  for our location in Friedrichsdorf . These challenges await you: You manage team induction, competence development, and autonomy through training and follow-up actions. You ensure adherence to safety, work instructions, and quality standards, escalating issues as per protocols. You lead meetings, annual reviews, succession planning, and promote continuous improvement. You foster a positive work environment and recognize team achievements. You enforce health, safety, and environmental rules, and oversee equipment maintenance. You ensure customer satisfaction, SQCDM performance, and profitability by meeting and improving targets. You lead daily problem-solving, ergonomic risk elimination, and action plans to enhance SQCDM metrics. You contribute to project industrialization, ensuring smooth startups and layout optimizations. You inspire us with that: You have a master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Production, Industrial, Mechanical) You have several years of professional experience in the production area You have very good knowledge of MS Office You have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, TPM, Standard Work, 8D etc.) You have very good analytical skills, as well as the ability to solve problems You have very good communication skills You speak German and English fluently Why Valeo: At VALEO, we firmly believe that great technologies are born out of passion. 💶 Compensation package.
