Your New Role… The temporary position in Sports Research is a unique opportunity to work with some of the biggest sports brands in the world! Using data and personal knowledge about sports, this role will support the creation of insights and storylines surrounding sports programming and sports consumers This position provides critical support to decision makers on the Revenue side of the business Role Accountabilities… Collecting, analyzing and summarizing data from primary and secondary sources for daily, weekly and ad hoc reporting Using software applications (such as: Nielsen, MRI, Star Media, etc.) to generate data and reports and update internal systems Tracking and analyzing audience performance and trends to inform stakeholders across the company Contributing sports knowledge and analytical expertise during department meetings and strategy sessions Additional tasks will be dependent on experience and strengths This position reports to the Senior Manager, Sports Research Qualifications & Experiences… Bachelor's degree in a related field 5+ years of industry work experience Ability to master new software and technology Must have strong math skills and sharp attention to detail Solid writing and verbal communication skills Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to communicate data and analysis thru visual design and written communication Experience with Nielsen software and Star Media Estimator is a must Knowledge of sports leagues, sports industry and sports landscape are a plus Previous experience in Programming or Ad Sales Research is a plus  Proficiency in creating programming estimates is a plus How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important! Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $43,680.00 - $81,120.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
