Job Summary: The Value Stream Manager II (VSM) ensures customer satisfaction by leading a cross functional team to execute the Annual Operating Plan for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and Growth of the business and associates.  The VSM II is accountable for the long-term financial performance of the Value Stream by ensuring alignment to business needs and growth, establishing future state strategic vision, and developing and executing continuous improvement roadmaps. Essential Functions: Lead cross-functional collaboration with Order Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to ensure value stream success. Drive operational performance by monitoring KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost, growth) and implementing effective problem-solving strategies. Champion continuous improvement through lean initiatives, kaizen events, and execution of the continuous improvement roadmap. Develop and mentor team members to build a highly skilled, motivated, and customer-focused workforce. Manage strategic planning including budgeting, capital planning, and growth initiatives to achieve future state objectives. Ensure accountability for results in safety, product quality, on-time delivery, financial performance, and compliance with Crane Business System practices. Minimum Qualifications : Experience : 5+ years of experience directly supporting operations, including 3+ years of supervision Knowledge : Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods; Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources Skills/Abilities : Strong critical thinking skills; Excellent time management/sense of urgency; Complex problem solving ability; Good judgment and decision making skills; Strong interpersonal and communication skills Education/Certification : Bachelor degree in Manufacturing or related field Preferred Qualifications : BA or BS degree in science or business. Salary range: $127,000.00 - $167,000.00. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
