Job Summary: The NPI (New Product Introduction) to Operations Manager for each solution is responsible to successfully transition products from development into production. They will work closely with Business/Program Management to ensure sourcing decisions are aligned with the Strategic Sourcing Plan, and will work closely with Engineering, Site Leaders, Value Stream Managers, MEs and QEs in the creation of the operations plan for the production readiness reviews. Manage or coordinate the NPI SCM/Ops efforts within the Solution: •    Interface with strategic and tactical Supply Chain teams •    Support IPT teams for new NPI programs •    Determine priorities, remove roadblocks, address engineering issues and ensure actions are completed •    Assist and drive transition to production Identify and support the operational lead for each program or own the operational lead requirements based on level of NPI efforts within the solution Maintain and report on critical NPI metrics: •    Track NPI inventory by program •    Track OTD (On-time-delivery) and milestone achievement for NPI programs •    Track tasks/action items for completion  •    Track material costs for New Products Analyze the supply base to determine which suppliers can produce the part within required specifications and timeframes: •    Determine Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) depending on the complexity of commodity ie. CCAs, magnetics, machining etc. •    Manage material acquisition for NPI •    Ensure successful material changeover to production buying  Create and Maintain Program Documentation Supply Chain Dossier: Drive demand with the business management and scheduling to ensure all program demand is loaded in the system for visibility of requirements as early as possible (for prototype, engineering development, test units, qual, red and black label) Transition from NPI schedule to production schedule Identify major items and sub-assemblies and align with expected suppliers in coordination with Strategic Sourcing and internal manufacturing (sourcing plan) Highly Engineered Products: Ensure Supply Chain is coordinating between the selected suppliers and Engineering on development of support documentation and development costs are identified and negotiated Manufacturing Dossier: Ensure manufacturing documents and plans for Major sub-assemblies are identified in the supply chain dossier as internal makes Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, CM, and engineering to execute: Cell requirements, resource needs, tools and test equipment Support Production Readiness Review   Attend Program Meetings including: •    PDRs and CDR (Production/Critical Design Reviews) •    Phase Gate Reviews and Approvals •    Program Reviews •    Vertical Reviews Coordinate the creation and maintenance of the program sourcing plans Identify and support/lead supplier assessments related to NPI programs •    Program status related to material and schedule (Cost and Delivery) •    Primary liaison between Product Development, Supply Chain and manufacturing Staffing Assessment - whether we have enough staff/support for programs; Identify need for NPI headcount through implementation Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management Minimum Qualifications: •    Experience: Five years in a manufacturing environment OR an advanced degree and three years in a manufacturing environment experience. •    Knowledge: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, data acquisition or analysis or other information needed to perform the responsibilities. •    Skills/Abilities: Ability to develop and foster effective working relationships across functions (engineering, quality, manufacturing, etc.); Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence; Ability to run multiple concurrent projects and work well under pressure; Excellent computer and data analysis skills.  •    Education/Certification: BS Degree in an engineering discipline or related field or equivalent. MS or MBA preferred.
