Your New Role :     The   S taff,   Product Manager ITOM   |   ITAM   will play a pivotal role in the Service Management organization, focusing on the strategic development and evolution of IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This position will be based in   Hyderabad   and will report into the   Enterprise Service Management (ESM)   office. As a core member of the   ESM   Product Management team, the   Staff   Product Manager will partner closely with business stakeholders, platform engineers, and   service delivery managers   to shape and deliver product roadmaps aligned with business needs and enterprise strategy.     This role will focus on   optimizing   the   IT   Operations   Management (IT O M)   and IT Asset Management (ITAM)   capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.   The ideal candidate will bring deep   expertise   in product management within the ServiceNow ecosystem, with specific experience in ITOM and ITAM modules, and a strong grasp of service management best practices. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to demand shaping, roadmap execution, and platform alignment.     Your Role Accountabilities:   PRODUCT STRATEGY & VISION     Lead the strategy and vision for   the ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM domains,   ensuring alignment with enterprise service management goals   and business needs .   Develop multi-year roadmaps for product capabilities, prioritizing initiatives based on value delivery, feasibility, and platform standards.   Evaluate market trends, vendor roadmaps (ServiceNow), and stakeholder feedback to   identify   future opportunities for growth and improvement.   Serve as a subject matter expert for ITOM/ITAM capabilities within the broader enterprise product portfolio.     STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT   Collaborate with service owners and   business stakeholders   to   understand pain points,   validate   priorities,   and align   product and business   roadmaps .   Build strong relationships with business units, service teams, and IT stakeholders to drive   a collaborative, iterative approach to product development   that ensures   stakeholder buy-in and   customer   satisfaction.   Champion the capabilities of ITOM and ITAM within the stakeholder community and drive   best practices within ServiceNow.   Facilitate workshops, training, and documentation to educate stakeholders on   ITOM and ITAM   guidelines,   policies,   and governance practices.     DELIVERY & EXECUTION   Translate product strategies into prioritized backlogs in collaboration with   service delivery,   process management,   and platform teams.   Participate in   sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to ensure   timely   and high-quality delivery of product features and enhancements.   Identify   and resolve delivery impediments, working across teams to remove blockers and streamline execution.   Maintain product documentation, release notes, and configuration standards to support audit readiness and ongoing maintenance.     PLATFORM ALIGNMENT & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE   Ensure ITOM   and   ITAM products are developed and   maintained   in compliance with ServiceNow platform standards and enterprise architecture.   Partner with Platform Engineering to manage technical debt,   maintain   system integrity, and support sustainable delivery.   Foster a culture of operational excellence by driving process improvements, automation opportunities, and platform efficiencies.   Track delivery metrics and KPIs to assess product performance and inform continuous improvement.   Qualifications & Experiences:     7 + years   of experience in product management,   with at least 3 years in managing ServiceNow-based solutions, preferably in ITOM and ITAM domains.   Proven   track record   of delivering enterprise-scale platform solutions in a complex, matrixed organization.   Strong understanding of IT service management principles, particularly ITIL, and the ServiceNow platform capabilities.   Demonstrated ability to drive stakeholder consensus, manage competing priorities, and deliver value through agile methodologies.   Experience in demand management, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile product development lifecycle.   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business language.   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline (MBA or advanced technical degree preferred).       Not Required but   P referred   E xperience:     ServiceNow certifications in ITOM, ITAM, or Certified System Administrator.   Product management certification (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Institute).   ITIL v4 Foundation or higher-level certification (Managing Professional or Strategic Leader).   Experience working in global enterprises or highly regulated environments.   How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
