The facility produces gaseous oxygen, liquid oxygen, and crude argon. The Site Supervisor will be part of a two-person team supporting all aspects of day-to-day plant operations. Responsibilities include customer and business interfacing, safety and environmental compliance, maintenance budgeting, and employee training. The successful candidate will be required to develop a detailed understanding of all aspects of site operations, distribution, and maintenance activities, with a strong emphasis on leadership. Effective communication and strong organizational skills are critical for this role. Ensuring environmental compliance in accordance with Air Products Corporate and Governmental Regulations. Understanding safe operating, design, and permit limits. Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operations to include troubleshooting plant process problems, supervising daily plant activities, and handling plant projects. Identifying maintenance concerns; then developing and implementing corrective measures with the maintenance team as well as carrying out site preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs. Implementing and sharing best practices. Investigating incidents and near misses which includes understanding and correcting the root cause of failures. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required. A degree in engineering or in a technical field is a plus but not required. Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree. 5+ years of relevant operations/maintenance experience in an industrial plant is preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A self-starter with confirmed leadership skills and ability to develop talent.
