How You Will Make Contributions Perform maintenance activities on all manufacturing process equipment in all areas of the plant at a fundamental level Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic production and/or packaging equipment issues at a fundamental level Perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment at a fundamental level Perform adjustments to machinery and work with machine operators on problems to improve quality and efficiency of packaging lines at a fundamental level Monitor the production/packaging lines and report any abnormal condition(s) of the machines to the appropriate individuals (Plant Manager, Supervisor, etc.). Monitor and maintain in optimal operational condition all safety features and systems on the machinery and equipment at a fundamental level Communicate effectively with all employees, supervisors and managers in troubleshooting equipment to ensure minimal equipment downtime and peak equipment efficiency Attend various mandatory safety and departmental meetings. Communicate in a courteous and positive manner to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team with all involved. Assist other personnel as needed and perform other duties essential to the department as requested by your supervisor. Experience in Dairy Manufacturing Environment preferred. Previous electrical, mechanical, forklift, SAP experience a plus. Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental standards and regulations. Ability to develop relationships and influence through strong customer orientation. Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
