Diese Position bietet dir die Möglichkeit, eng mit Kunden und Außendienstmitarbeitern zusammenzuarbeiten, die Zufriedenheit zu steigern und die Servicequalität in der EMEA-Region zu verbessern. Deine Gelegenheit Als Application Specialist Bioinformatik (m/w/d) wirst du: Bioinformatik-Support bereitstellen:   Die Verfügbarkeit und Qualität der Roche Diagnostics Sequenzierungsprodukte durch Nutzung deines technischen Fachwissens in Bioinformatik und NGS-Technologien sicherstellen. Experten-Fehlerbehebung:   Fortgeschrittene Fehlerbehebung und Expertenunterstützung für komplexe bioinformatische Probleme im Zusammenhang mit der NGS-Analyse und Roche Sequenzierungsprodukten anbieten. Anfragen bearbeiten:   Telefonische und schriftliche Anfragen von Kunden und Roche-Mitarbeitern in den EMEA-Ländern bearbeiten. Bei Beschwerden zusammenarbeiten:   Beschwerden in Zusammenarbeit mit Ländergesellschaften und globalen Einheiten erfassen und bearbeiten. Schulungen durchführen:   Schulungssitzungen sowohl für Kunden als auch für Mitarbeiter im regionalen Kunden-Support-Center durchführen. Servicequalität überwachen:   Serviceprozesse überwachen und hohe Standards der Produkt-/Systemqualität aufrechterhalten. Wer du bist Du besitzt: Bildungshintergrund:   PhD in Bioinformatik, Biostatistik, Computational Biology oder einem verwandten Bereich mit umfangreicher Erfahrung in der Analyse von Hochdurchsatzdaten. Alternativ einen Bachelor-Abschluss oder höher in Zellbiologie, Molekularbiologie, Biochemie oder einem verwandten Bereich, kombiniert mit mindestens 5 Jahren relevanter Erfahrung. Berufserfahrung:   Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in einer Forschungs- oder Dienstleistungseinrichtung mit fundierten Kenntnissen in der Next-Generation-Sequencing-Technologien. Kommunikationsfähigkeiten:   Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations-, Datenpräsentations- und Visualisierungsfähigkeiten, eine hohe Effektivität in schriftlicher und mündlicher Kommunikation, Organisation und Priorisierung. Technisches Fachwissen:   Praktische Erfahrung im Entwerfen, Entwickeln, Dokumentieren und Bereitstellen von Bioinformatik-Pipelines für NGS-Anwendungen wie Target Enrichment, Comprehensive Genomic Profiling, Whole Exome Sequencing und Whole Genome Sequencing. Klinische Bioinformatik:   Fachkenntnisse in klinischer Bioinformatik, insbesondere in der Organisation, Analyse und Interpretation patientenbezogener NGS-Daten zur Umwandlung in klinisch relevante Informationen, sind von Vorteil. Systemkenntnisse:   Vertrautheit mit Linux-Systemadministration und Netzwerkarchitektur. Reisebereitschaft:   Motivation, auch kurzfristig in andere europäische Länder zu reisen.
