Job Details Role Summary At Alliance Healthcare, a Cencora company, we’re united in our responsibility to create healthier futures. We’re looking for skilled FLT Drivers to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art Central Logistics Centre (CLC). This is a hands-on forklift role with a strong focus on operating VNA and Reach Trucks to safely and efficiently support goods inwards, stock movement, replenishment, and dispatch in a modern warehouse environment with advanced automation and robotics. Pay: £13.10 per hour + Weekly FLT Supplement Hours: Full Time – Day Shift until May 2025, then flexibility to work either AM or PM shift, 5 days out of 6. Location: Gravelly Industrial Estate, Birmingham Key Responsibilities Operate VNA and Reach Trucks (and other MHE as required) to move, store, replenish, and pick stock safely and accurately. Load and unload vehicles, supporting inbound and outbound warehouse activity. Work with warehouse management systems ( Knapp and Manhattan ) to confirm moves, locations, and stock accuracy. Support order fulfilment activities, including picking, staging, and preparing goods for dispatch. Maintain accurate stock control, including FEFO rotation and inventory checks. Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Work in refrigerated and secure areas when required, maintaining product quality and compliance. Operate at height where required, following all safety procedures. Hit productivity targets and KPIs while minimising damage, shortages, and pick errors. Report and help resolve basic operational/technical issues affecting warehouse flow. Promote a safe working environment and comply with all health & safety requirements. Support training and coaching of new team members when needed. . Required Skills and Experience Essential Experience operating FLT in a warehouse/logistics environment (VNA and/or Reach preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace safely. Good time management and organisational skills. Comfortable working at height and in varying warehouse conditions/temperatures. Confident using IT systems (including Microsoft Office 365). Good communication skills with basic literacy and numeracy. Desirable Valid FLT licence (VNA and/or Reach Truck highly desirable; Counterbalance/Ride-on PPT also beneficial). Experience using WMS and working in automated warehouse environments. Understanding of shipping processes and stock control.
