Whatever your skills and experience, we’ll help you to thrive in our inclusive culture.   About the Role: The Import and Export Senior Analyst will be responsible for the proactive and detailed monitoring of performance across all stages of export processes (Ypioca and Smirnoff) and the pre-arrival phases of import processes—from order placement with origins to cargo presence at entering port. Main activities include: Stakeholder Management: Maintain constant contact with internal and external stakeholders involved in the import/export process to ensure operational fluidity and availability of requested products. KPI Monitoring: Closely track performance indicators (KPIs) for each stage of the process, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of collected data, generating management reports and proposing actions to optimize processes. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with import and export processes, ensuring compliance with current regulations and legislation. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek innovative and efficient solutions to optimize import processes, reducing costs and lead times. Specific Activities: Export: Shipment Coordination: International freight procurement (ocean, air, or road) and booking with freight forwarders. Customs Broker Interface: Monitoring customs clearance and reviewing Export Declarations (DU-E), draft BLs, and Certificates of Origin. International Documentation: Drafting Commercial Invoices and Packing Lists via Datasul. Compliance: Ensuring that Certificates of Analysis (COA) and wood treatment certificates (pallets) are compliant. Terminal & Port Management: Monitoring cargo delivery at the port and coordinating container stuffing. Cargo Insurance: Procurement and management of international insurance policies to protect cargo value. External Customer Service: Constant follow-up with importers and distributors regarding order status. Pricing (Incoterms): Calculation of export costs based on different Incoterms. Payment Control: Management of Letters of Credit, international remittances, foreign exchange closing, and expense posting in Datasul. Inventory Management: Alignment with production to ensure product availability for shipment. Import: IPI Tax Stamps: Requesting and monitoring IPI stamp applications at the origin based on Supply Planning demand. Supplier Management: Managing printing suppliers at origins (USA and UK). Shipment Adherence: Monitoring adherence to scheduled ETDs (Estimated Time of Departure). Origin Document Management: Issuance, compliance verification, and availability of documents (COA, COO, specific documents for CII, etc.). ERP Management: Issuing invoices and packing lists / Data extraction from SAP. Freight Performance: Monitoring and managing carrier service levels and international freight route performance. Inventory Reconciliation: Daily alignment with Market Customer Supply and Accounting teams regarding Depletions (inventory reconciliation between Diageo Brazil and DBBV). System Integration: Stock receiving in SAP and creation of Purchase Orders (POs) for interface with OSGT Softway. Desired Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, or related fields. Experience: Solid experience in import and/or export processes, focusing on end-to-end tracking. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of customs legislation and import procedures. Systems: Proficiency in SAP (mandatory); Datasul and OSGT Softway (preferred).
