Our commitment is to create a work environment where feeling valued, respected, and empowered is a daily experience.   The Opportunity:   As a Regional Molecular Product Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the generation of sales for an assigned set of named accounts or territories. You will be assigned to large, complex, high-visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts. This often includes a cross section of customers with more complex or larger accounts. This role involves contacting and visiting existing and prospective customers, and may be involved in account expansion and acquiring similarly significant new accounts. Additionally, you may assist in developing and implementing national sales campaigns and sales strategies for medium to large accounts. The position requires significant levels of sales proficiency as well as specific industry experience.   As the Regional Molecular Product Specialist, you will: Lead with expertise and innovation by leveraging your deep industry knowledge and broad experience to creatively resolve complex challenges and drive impactful results. Shape sales strategy and execution by playing an active leadership role in developing and implementing approaches that achieve ambitious sales objectives across your region. Serve as the molecular diagnostics expert by applying your specialized understanding of Roche’s portfolio and the molecular diagnostics market to guide customers, introduce new products, and position Roche as a trusted partner. Deliver tailored solutions through the effective identification of opportunities to retain, expand, and acquire customer accounts using consultative selling and data-driven insights. Influence through collaboration by partnering with marketing, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction. Stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies to provide insights that shape business decisions and strengthen team performance. Build lasting relationships by cultivating strong, strategic partnerships with key stakeholders that support growth, profitability, and long-term customer loyalty. Model leadership and mentorship by serving as a subject matter expert, guiding colleagues, and coordinating initiatives that advance the success of the broader sales organization. This is a field-based role - the territory includes SF, LA, SD, Hawaii, and most of Arizona, including Phoenix. Our ideal candidate would reside in S. California and or the Phoenix area. Up to 40 - 50% overnight travel anticipated.   Who You Are:   Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 5+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience   Preferred Requirements:   Good oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations Proven leadership abilities Negotiation, contracting and problem solving skills Ability to work in a regulated environment Strategic planning and organizational skills Medical or Diagnostics Capital Equipment sales experience preferred     Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting   The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $ 105,100.00 - 195,300.00 USD annually .  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
