Provides advanced professional input to complex Business Project Management assignments/projects. Leads a small time-limited project or components of a larger project and directs one or more teams of business consultants involved in the evaluation of systems requirements and/or the development of new procedures/processes/policy solutions to address complex business needs. May also assess impact and implications from a cost, efficiency, contractual, legal and/or regulatory standpoint. Evaluates project status and resource utilization and implements changes to improve the team’s effectiveness. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures. Uses best practices and knowledge to improve products or services. Solves complex problems. May coordinate with other project managers. Works on significant processes within a business organization or across various functional areas. Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Business Project Management.
