About the role: Key stakeholder for Marketing team, supporting the financial cycle of the main core portfolio brands, generating business cases for brand initiatives, proposing effective solutions aimed at meeting the company's financial objectives, while also creating assertive visibility for key collaborators. This is a Finance Function in Market but will partner collaboratively with multifunctional business teams and above market counterparts mainly members of Marketing and CMO teams. Purpose: Analyze financial results and forecast for main core brands against the plan, previous year and recommend value. Give proper visibility of the analysis against plan, LY and O&R to Heads and Brand Managers. Be a business partner to marketing giving constant financial support to supervise their brands, giving watch outs to key collaborators. Provide support on performing continuous financial analysis, financial modeling and business interrogation. Business partner of Marketing team Provide financial support to the M&E´s activities to ensure profitable investments. Develop business cases to ensure the accurate financial evaluation of brand projects Decision Making: Business Partner: to use financial knowledge and understanding of their Brands to contribute to excellent forecasting and accuracy The role also requires the ability to clearly communicate these insights to key collaborator to influence decision-making. Financial Responsibility: This person will be responsible for the accuracy and robustness of the financial analysis Will be responsible for brand P&L understanding and how each decision affects Diageo´s performance. Leadership Responsibility: Ability to negotiate and influence without formal authority with principal collaborators Able to chip in and challenge business strategy commercial cycles from a financial perspective Takes ownership and accountability to deliver outcomes Accountabilities: Present financial results to Marketing Heads and Brand Managers. Present Forecast (Opportunities and Risks) to Marketing Heads and Brand Managers. Develop Financial Models to evaluate projects that are Brand/portfolio related. Prepare monthly reports the Marketing Team to drive business. Decision support to marketing Qualifications and Experience: Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or similar degree, with minimum 4 year in experience in Finance. Advanced English – written and spoken Aspiration to progress within Finance in Diageo Ability to work around and within a variety of different market conditions. Analytical and presentation skills.
