About your role The successful candidate would be expected to make sure high quality of the project with high efficiency by using testing methodology and rich testing experience.  The key functions of this group include: •           Understand Requirements: Have good understanding skill from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business. •           Design and review test cases •           Raise defects and tracking: Describe the defects clearly and has good communication skill within the team, can push developers fix the defects efficiently. •           Develop automation testing script and cases •           Provide suggestion for the testing strategy •           Execute test cases: Accuracy and efficiency should be considered in running test cases, escalate issues and risks control. •           Regression test conduct: Maintain automation test scripts independently. •           Candidate would support global project, so the English skill is required. •           Candidate is also required to focus on knowledge sharing amongst fellow team members through various knowledge sharing means such as training sessions, clear and up-to-date documentation available in knowledge sharing repository. •           The role may need support Fidelity Global partners such those in the Canada, UK, Indian, Hong Kong etc. based on business needs, the individual will need to work night shifts for 2-3 days per week (Shift working time from 1PM to 10 PM). An allowance will be provided on the shift day per company’s policy. •           The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment. About you Must have: •           Rich experience on automation testing. •           Rich experience on functional testing. •           Strong automation testing skills •           Knowledge of any well-known software development and testing life-cycle methodology. •           Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and testing tools. •           Rich experience in Oracle database. •           Strong problem solving and analytical skills. •           Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. •           Good communication skills in English  Preferable Skills are: •           Selenium                      •           Jira •           Load Runner                 •           English •           Load Runner •           JMeter •           Soap UI •           Python One last point – if it goes without saying, it should not be included.
