Quality & Patient Safety Coordinator – Behavioral Health – Full Time – Days – Weill Cornell As a Quality & Patient Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving initiatives that strengthen a culture of safety across our Behavioral Health programs. In this role, you will: Implement key quality and patient safety programs through close collaboration with hospital executives, administrators, and department leaders. Support daily departmental operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Manage regulatory reporting requirements, maintain event logs, and oversee spreadsheets, data entry, and data analysis. Coordinate departmental meetings and develop presentation materials. Track plans of correction and follow‑up items to ensure timely completion. Assist in the review of patient safety events and monitor the implementation of safety processes and regulatory standards. Maintain and protect confidential organizational information and patient‑level data with the highest level of integrity. This position is based at NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center with potential travel to other NYP sites as needed. The role is full‑time, Monday–Friday. Preferred Criteria Master’s degree in a related discipline At least 1-3 years of related experience Project management experience Data analysis experience Required Criteria Bachelor's degree Proficiency with MS Office Excellent writing and communication skills – possesses verbal and written skills to convey mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders.
