Per Diem Physician Assistant - Internal Medicine/Psychiatry We are excited to announce the reopening of our newly renovated, state-of-the-art inpatient Psychiatry Unit, which now includes four higher-acuity med-psych beds. As a Per Diem Physician Assistant, you will provide 24/7 coverage and work closely with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners to address both the psychiatric and medical needs of admitted patients. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience in hospital medicine and/or psychiatric medicine Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies Current New York State PA Licensure Active NCCPA Certification ACLS and BLS certifications NYS Infection Control Certification DEA Registration with NYS Opioid Prescriber status Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
