Location New York, New York Shift: Night (United States of America) Description: Small Patients, Huge Advances: Neonatal ICU Nurses Make It Possible Clinical Nurse - Neonatal ICU - Full Time- Nights Transform your career as nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Over fifty years ago, NYP specialists created the APGAR score for newborn evaluation. Today, we’re among the nation’s best for neonatal care, and a Regional Perinatal Network hub. We care for the tiniest, most critically ill patients – relying on our dedicated nurses' expertise. As a 58-bed Level IV tertiary NICU, we care for newborns who require the highest level of neonatal intensive care including HIE requiring total body cooling, extremely low birth weight premature infants, newborns with complex surgical conditions and neonates with complicated respiratory disorders that might need ECMO. Our Level IV NICU has one of the lowest chronic lung disease rates in the whole country and our center has a world renowned NICU comfort care program as well being a fetal surgery center for neonates with neurological conditions like myelomeningocele.
