As a  Camp Counselor  at Camp Adventure , you will have the amazing opportunity to either serve as a: Group Counselor : Be the guiding star for a group of   camp ers, leading them through a day filled with various activities and unforgettable moments. Activity Counselor : Share your passion and expertise by leading thrilling activities like archery, pickleball, challenge courses, performing arts,   camp   crafts, and more. What you need to know Salary: $8.75/hourly Cover Letter and Resume: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended   Schedule: Camp   Adventure   will operate from May 25 – June 5, 2026 Mandatory training will be held on May 23 and May 24, 2026 Hours of operation: 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday - Friday Qualifications Required Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications: CPR and First Aid certification Experience working with kids ages 8–12 Responsibilities Depending on the chosen role: Group Counselors  - stay with the same group of   camp ers all day and take them to each activity Activity Counselors  - lead specific activities for various   camp er groups Our Commitment      Texas A&M University is committed to enriching the learning and working environment by promoting a culture that respects all perspectives, talents & lived experiences. Embracing varying opinions and perspectives strengthens our core values which are: Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity, and Selfless Service.    All positions are security-sensitive.
