Summer 2026 Undergraduate Intern - Facilities Management During Summer 2026, NYP will be offering four 10 - 13 week paid internship opportunities for qualified undergraduate students from an accredited engineering programs. Incoming interns will work with facilities management engineering leadership and experienced plant supervisor professionals. Across our state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll use technical skills to diagnose operational issues, document flow diagrams and develop maintenance programs in accordance with a variety of regulatory codes and procedures. You will support the management of NYP’s critical systems we maintain and operate for the safety of our patients. This includes projects working with boilers, chillers, and other large systems at one of these four NYP campuses: Weill Cornell Medical Center, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and Queens. These exciting internship opportunities will take place from June 1 - August 28, 2026 on site in New York, NY (or can be shortened if an intern would like to work for 8 or 10 weeks as long as you are able to meet the requirements of your internship course).  These positions are fully in-person.  Students can also earn academic credit for this internship.
