Job Title Adjunct Faculty in Computer Science/Cybersecurity/Cyber Engineering Technology Agency Texas A&M University - San Antonio Department Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location San Antonio, Texas Job Type Faculty Job Description The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences is seeking Full/Part-time adjunct instructor(s) needed for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, and cyber engineering technology for Fall 2026. Most courses are taught in person with a few courses taught online either synchronously or asynchronously. Required Education and Experience: An earned Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution. 18 graduate hours in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology or a closely related field. Lecture and Computer based Laboratory teaching experience or related industry experience. Preferred Education and Experience: Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.   Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting. Broad training in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Cyber Engineering Technology and industry experience. Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology. Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills. Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff. Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
