Your benefits Attractive salary and special payments 30 days paid vacation and extra days-off for special occasions Excellent upskilling opportunities and great international, group wide development prospects Special benefits: employer-funded pension, employee stock options, discounted car leasing, special conditions for insurances, transportation subsidy, employee benefits at cooperating companies On-site-facilities: Kindergarten close to the site, medical officer for check-ups and other health-related services, canteen and cafeteria Compatibility of family & work (job sharing, part-time models, flexible working hours, individual timeout) Working in a diverse environment, with more than 140 nationalities, where every voice is heard Your main tasks and responsibilities Architecture definition of platforms, communication  systems, backbones enabling new functionalities and services requested by Airbus aircraft programs and airline customers Creation of System and Hardware documentation (e.g. Specifications, System Descriptions, V&V Plans) according to the Airbus development process Coordination of system integration aspects with involved departments (e.g. Electrical and Mechanical System Integration, Manufacturing Engineering, Final Assembly Line) Definition and evaluation of Lab and Flight Test test activities for Satcom systems Definition of the functional system and equipment specifications for Airbus suppliers by using model based system engineering or requirement based methodology You will work in a project team while taking responsibility for your commitments and work collectively to a common objective, ensuring proper communication and transparency to the other team members and being flexible for adapting to the project needs. Required skills and qualifications Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, combined with relevant professional experience ( more than 8 years ) System engineering expertise, advanced understanding of development- and industrial processes ( more than 8 years ) Demonstrated experience with validation and verification methodologies for systems and equipment ( senior expert level ) Self-organized, with strong moderating and negotiating skills to develop innovative solutions with internal and external stakeholders. A genuine enthusiasm for complex technical challenges and continuous learning Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude profound knowledge in radio frequency technology/telecommunications or Network/Connectivity Project management skills are a plus Excellent communication/presentation skills, including the ability to foster transparency and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders Negotiation-level English skills Flexibility and agility Willingness to travel to our sites, to suppliers or customers as needed This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
