Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Location: Mumbai Job Type: Full-time/office Electrical Engineer – Library (One ETAP – ETAP, SEE & Caneco software) The role: As an Electrical Engineer  in the engineering library department, your role involves providing essential support related to electrical protection devices and equipment modelling and review. He/she is also responsible for answering library and technical tickets via the help centre. This role requires good technical competency, excellent learning skills, problem understanding and solving and effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities and accountabilities. Exhibit proficiency with electrical power system concepts. Understand the needs of the user. Meticulous creation of engineering library models for protective devices and equipment based on manufacturing catalogues. Diligently reaching out for accurate data. Apply engineering expertise to ensure models accurately represent the behaviour of protective devices and equipment. Review the developed models and suggest improvements based on engineering judgement, manufacturers' catalogues, and standards. Guidance to developers on issues related to the modelling of devices. Conduct meetings with users to provide a solution on technical issues. Well, read about different applicable standards and performance characteristics. Documentation as per the company’s QA policy. Communicate effectively within the team and with ETAP users. Qualification, Experience & Skills BE/ME in electrical engineering or equivalent. Job specific skills 2 to 3 years of electrical experience in any relevant industry. Possess knowledge on ETAP software. Good knowledge about protective devices and its operating principles. Good knowledge about cables, solar and batteries. Ability to work independently. Effective communication skills. Positive mindset and ability to learn new skills. Able to apply engineering knowledge.
