Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Management intern to work with us at The Open Accelerator , located in our Boston/Seaport office. This Project Manager (PM) role is vital to our organization, focusing on guiding the development, strategy, and lifecycle management as we prepare for the launch of The Open Accelerator Residency in November 2026. The PM will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the project's success. The Open Accelerator is a dual-track strategic initiative designed to bridge the "Production Deployment Gap" for technical entrepreneurs in Massachusetts. By complementing broad Ecosystem Engagement with a highly selective Residency, we rapidly provide the credibility, expertise, and network needed to transform innovation into thriving startup companies that deliver compelling value to global customers while growing within the Commonwealth. The Red Hat Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent Team and our intern managers. During your time with us, you can expect meaningful work, along with opportunities for professional development, social engagement, networking, and performance development. Job Responsibilities: Facilitate and influence change at all levels of the project Define project scope, create timelines, and set milestones for initiatives. Maintain project documentation, including requirement documents and performance metrics dashboards Chance to work with rapidly changing environments and work with remote and distributed teams Conduct first party research on AI startups Opportunity to attend events within the local AI Startup community Collect and document input from the team, customers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and requirements.
