Join Our Team as a Veterinary Laboratory Scientist – Hamilton, NZ Fixed term IDEXX is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented  Veterinary Laboratory Scientist to join our dedicated team in a full-time capacity at our state-of-the-art laboratory in Hamilton, New Zealand. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and timely diagnostic testing services for IDEXX Reference Laboratories while also supporting Patient Sample Management. In this hybrid role, you will apply your professional knowledge in microbiology investigations, exercising professional judgement in interpretation, verification, laboratory analyses, tests and validation of the results while also contributing to the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of our diagnostic services by supporting both PSM workflows and laboratory testing within our multidisciplinary team. This role will be a 12-month fixed term role working Tuesday to Saturdays within the hours of 6am and 6pm. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global leader in veterinary diagnostics while working in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will have: A Bachelor of Medical Science/or equivalent degree. Experience working in a Microbiology diagnostics laboratory is desirable Experience working in in a diagnostics laboratory An understanding of IANZ and ISO 17025, standards The ability to be flexible and comfortable with full time hours between Tuesday-Saturday on rotating day shifts. Experience in operating efficiently and effectively to meet tight turnaround times in a commercial lab environment Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
