As a   Product Designer   at IDEXX,   you   will craft intuitive, user- centered   experiences for our diverse veterinary software products. By   leveraging   strong visual and interaction problem-solving skills, you will deliver world-class designs that empower our customers and enhance satisfaction. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including product, development, and other designers—you will create seamless digital   experiences   that support IDEXX’s evolving software product ecosystem.     Your focus w ithin IDEXX   will be   ezyVet ,   a   SAAS   cloud based Veterinary Practice Management   system ,   a comprehensive   software solution   for   individual vet practice s   through to enterprise vet organisation s . We help v eterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with   clients   and reduce workload stress.   By   provid ing   p atient   record   data ,   consultation workflow s ,   diagnostics ,   c lient   communications ,   b usiness   insights   and   inventory management   systems .       So what are we looking for?     A problem solver at heart, passionate about understanding the problem and advocating for the customer, helping strike a balance between the desirability, viability, and feasibility of solutions.   You will have an   extensive   UX and CX   tool set, that is pragmatic in helping the product trio understand the right problem and be creative in   providing   the right   solution .    ​ Have the   a bility to discover ,   understand   and communicate   the problem   space   and execute user experience initiatives for   a complex domain , manag e   risk , simplify   experiences   while   increasing product quality ,   this   should   be   evident   in your portfolio.   Can engage   with customers via   various   feedback   forum s;   one to one conversations, onsite   visits   and online video conversations .   Can gather feedback,   listen   and   summarise   knowledge . Use design rationale to   adapt and   iterate   the solution so that the product will be of real benefit .   Responsible for creating interactive user centric prototypes,   process model s ,   journey maps ,   design   frameworks   or other required artefacts.   Ideally experience in using   Gen AI tools in their process ,   while   maintaining   principles of   a   great design   process.   Ability to use data to inform decision   making, not just qualitative insight.   Create well-considered design plans   and   bring   Product   Managers   and Engineers   on the journey to   bring the solution to life!    What you will bring:     5+ years ’   experience in   Product Design   –   UX   & CX   Solid understanding of UI design principles, mobile first , interacti on design,   prototyping , accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)   and   using   Gen AI Tools   on your process .   Prior experience working   in   complex domains ,   prior exposure to medical applications and software design is helpful.   High attention to detail, but also t he ability to move between tactical and strategic thinking .    Clear communicator (Fluency in English),   a great   listener   and influencer .
