You have successfully completed your master’s degree and are eager to start your career in an international, technology-driven environment. As part of our Management Trainee Program, you will take on responsibility early on within the Financial Services team of our Industrial Trucks & Services (ITS) EMEA organization. In this role, you will contribute directly to the development of small standard automated solutions – a strategically important and fast-growing business area within the KION Group. By enabling smart financing, risk assessment, and contract structures, you will help customers take their next step in automation and shape how innovative solutions reach the market. From day one, you will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team working at the interface of finance, sales, risk, and technology, with exposure to international stakeholders and real business decisions. We offer: Brief Facts Homebase : Hamburg Duration : 18 months Start of the program : October 1, 2026 What we offer In addition to a multifaceted job , you can look forward to exciting career opportunities and above-market remuneration You will quickly get to know all the important interfaces that ensure cross-functional collaboration based on partnership and trust The global orientation of the program is complemented by a 5-month assignment at one of our international locations From the start, we will assign you tasks for which you will have individual responsibility , giving you the opportunity to contribute your own ideas Your mentor , one of our KION executives, will support you along your journey and will drive your personal development Tasks and Qualifications: Tasks You will gain a  comprehensive understanding of Financial Services  by rotating through  market-facing functions (Sales Management, Contract Management)  as well as  core downstream functions (Risk Management, Credit Analysis, Controlling, Accounting) . You will  actively support national and international sales teams  in developing  customer-oriented financing solutions , including the  preparation of project proposals, business cases, and framework agreements . You will contribute to the  approval, execution, and settlement of leasing and financing contracts , gaining  hands-on experience with real customer transactions . Over the course of the program, you will build  strong expertise in credit assessment, risk controlling, and portfolio management , supporting  sound and sustainable business decisions . You will develop an  in-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in Financial Services  and how they  impact daily operations , particularly in a  regulated German environment . You will be encouraged to  identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and cross-functional collaboration , actively  contributing your own ideas  to a  growing and dynamic automation business . Requirements You have completed a  master’s degree  in  Business Administration, Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Finance, or a comparable field . You have a  strong interest in Financial Services, Leasing, Banking, and risk-related topics , ideally in a  technology- or industry-driven environment . You demonstrate a  strong analytical and structured mindset  and can  quickly understand complex financial and business interrelationships . You  communicate confidently , work  effectively in teams , and enjoy  collaborating with diverse stakeholders . You are  curious, proactive, and open to change , with the motivation to  actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives . You are motivated to work in an  international, cross-functional environment  and are  eager to take on responsibility early in your career . You have  strong German language skills and are fluent in English . Due to  regulatory requirements  and the role as a  captive financial services provider in Germany ,  professional communication in German is essential . Did we spark your interest?
